The Upcycle Collection is more than just clothing; it's a reflection of my story. When I migrated to New York from the Dominican Republic, my family instilled in me the importance of recycling. We didn’t have a lot so thrift stores became a huge part of my life. That experience stuck with me. As I grow older, I’ve yet to stop thrifting and recycling, it has become second nature. Now, I’ve found a way to combine that background with my passion for art. Every piece in this collection is a thoughtful and ethical approach in reimagining second hand clothes, turning them into something entirely new. Something deeply intertwined with both sustainability and creativity. My goal is to tailor each garment to be unique, not just by giving it new life, but by infusing it with my own artistic expression.
